Content Description Rev. James W. Young was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, on July 9, 1906, and received a Bachelor of Theology degree from Union Baptist Theological Seminary in 1950. He was Pastor of the Second Nazareth Baptist Church in New Orleans from 1952-1994. He was a board member of the First District Missionary Association, Vice-President of the Christian Ministers Alliance, and a member of the national and state Baptists conventions.
